(WARNING!: This blog post contains spoilers from Doki Doki Literature Club. Proceed with caution.) There was a point between late 2017 and 2018 when I was really  into Doki Doki Literature Club. I mean, could you blame me? It was literally all over the Internet! Although the whole concept wasn't the most original concept ever (Kimi to Kanojo to Kanojo no Koi did it before it back before it was even translated into English, and the demo for All For You - a Michaela Laws visual novel that seems to have similar themes - came out a month before DDLC), the way everything was presented was just stellar! It certainly helps that this game also has a gorgeous art style from Satchely, and the characters are all memorable, whether you like them or not. Because of the love I was developing for this game, I decided that I wanted to do something special for it, and my love for writing ended up coming into place. To whoever might or might not be reading this right now, Happy New Year, or should I say Happy New Decade? Well, whatever I should say, it's a fact that it's now 2020, and with a new year comes new things. For example, the YouTube algorithm is becoming more effed up than before due to the whole COPPA situation and such. If anyone has been keeping up with the crappy videos I post, however, they would know that hasn't been stopping me; in fact, after a bit of a hiatus, I have actually come back! I should explain why I left in the first place, though. The reason is simple, really: burnout. I tend to feel burnout when it comes to some things, and I was feeling burnout from doing YouTube. Something like this is partially why I don't monetize my videos; I don't think I could handle constantly uploading videos and making YouTube into my career.
