Winter 2026 Anime I've Been Watching

Image
So I'm sure the three people who have been reading this blog are wondering why I broke my streak of posting my list of anime I'll be watching in a specific season. The reason for that is that when I started writing that post for the Winter 2026 season, I realized that doing so had become not that fun for me. I didn't really have strong reasons for watching a lot of the anime I chose to watch, and the lists would become kind of obsolete, anyway, when I'd end up watching at least one more anime than what I'd list. (There are also some rare occasions where I'd end up not watching certain anime until later on due to certain circumstances. Looking at you, The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity.) Thus, I concluded that it might be better for me to wait until everything I planned to watch started airing and gave my first impressions on each of them (or at least what I think of the new season so far, if it's a new season of an already-aired anime); that way, I coul...

The Three Adam Sandler Movies I Won't Watch (And The One I Didn't Finish)

Image
You know how last year, I wrote and posted  two   reviews  of different Adam Sandler movies? Blame this video for that. I may have said that my mom is an Adam Sandler fan and caused me to gain some degree of familiarity with his work - heck, we watched "The Cobbler" this past Saturday because she wanted to watch it - but it was the knowledge that Schaffrillas was working on his ranking video of every Adam Sandler movie that caused me to gain a bigger interest in his work, culminating in those two reviews. (Coincidentally, those two movies just so happen to be at the bottom and the top of Schaffrillas's list. Huh, fancy that.) That being said, though, I value my time enough to not want to suffer through all of his movies. Specifically, there are three Adam Sandler movies that I refuse to even give a try, as well as one that I tried to watch but could only get partway through before turning it off. If my parents want to watch any of them, that's fine, but they can leave...

So One Punch Man Season 3 Has Been Getting A Lot of Hate.

Image
How in the world did it come to this? Back when the first season of One Punch Man came out, the series pretty much blew up, with many fans loving the characters and action scenes, among other scenes. It was so  beloved that, at one point, it got a MyAnimeList rating that went over 9, which is not an easy feat to achieve. (Personally, I liked it, but not that  much.) Then, season 2 came out, and fans were not as keen on it, mainly because of a decrease in animation quality that came from its studio change from Madhouse to J.C.Staff; still, it didn't turn out to be the worst thing ever. Then, season 3 started airing, and....well.... (For anyone unaware of how MyAnimeList's scoring standards tend to be, 5.32 is very low by their standards. It's only a little bit higher than The Promised Neverland season 2, which has a 5.25.) Yeah, people really hate this season. The main culprit for this icy reception, as far as I've been seeing, is that the animation quality is lower th...

My Thoughts on the Knights of Guinevere Pilot

Image
There are a lot of things I haven't seen that I probably should have by now. I haven't seen The Owl House - probably one of the most well-regarded Disney Channel shows in recent years - nor have I seen The Amazing Digital Circus or any of the other shows Glitch Productions has produced. However, when Michaela Laws announced that she was going to be voicing Frankie in the pilot episode of "Knights of Guinevere", a Glitch Productions animated series co-created by the creator of The Owl House, I somehow got the feeling that this was something I just couldn't miss. At the time of me beginning to type out this blog post, the pilot episode finished its premiere on Glitch Productions' YouTube channel just a few minutes ago, and now, I'd like to give some of my dumb thoughts on it. Although there are some technical aspects that I want to bring up, I don't consider this a review (although I may consider doing a review of the full series if that ends up happenin...

What I'll Be Watching During The Fall 2025 Anime Season

Image
Well, shoot. Three blog posts in a row have just been about what anime I'm going to be watching in an upcoming season. I need to figure out a different topic to write for this blog and fast. Anyway, y'all know the drill. I'm just going to be listing the new anime I'm going to be watching during the fall. I'm not going to include continuing anime this time; that's because, from the looks of it, the only anime I'm watching that aired during the summer that will continue into the fall is Princess-Session Orchestra (which I mentioned during my summer 2025 anime post and have nothing new to say about) and maybe Watari-kun's ****** is About to Collapse. I'm not entirely sure about the latter; I'd heard that it's going to have 26 episodes, but MyAnimeList seems pretty insistent that it's going to have 13. Maybe it's going to be 2 seasons with 13 episodes each? Yeah, given the quality of the anime so far, that would make more sense to me. Oh,...

What I'll Be Watching During The Summer 2025 Anime Season

Image
Man, it's been a while since I've written anything for this blog. I mean, I was  going to do a post doing mini-reviews for some NaNoRenO 2025 visual novels, but I ended up putting it off; it's probably too late to do it at this point. Oh, well! Anyway, it's June, and while spring isn't over yet, I think it's about time we started considering what seasonal anime we'll be watching during the summer. I've got 17 anime - including 3 Spring 2025 anime that are continuing into the next season - that I'd like to list, but first, I'd like to mention a few things. First of all, out of the "maybe watching" anime  that I mentioned before the start of the spring season , I ended up getting around to  Please Put Them On, Takamine-san  (mainly because it's that anime's fault I forced myself to watch  and review  Spectral Force),  The Shiunji Family Children  (because it's not like I'm going to be watching Rent-A-Girlfriend season 4 ...
